2. What data we collect and for what purpose

We collect only the data you give us through the quote request form, by telephone or via WhatsApp: full name, telephone number, email address if you provide it, the location and type of work, approximate floor area, the message you write and any photographs of the property you choose to attach.

The purpose is to deal with your enquiry, carry out the site visit, prepare and send you the quote and, if you commission the work, manage the contractual relationship and the associated tax and building warranty obligations.

3. Legal basis

Processing is based on your explicit consent when you submit the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), on the performance of a contract or of pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)) and, as regards invoicing and building warranties, on compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).

4. Retention period

If you do not go on to commission the work, your data is kept for a maximum of 12 months from our last contact and is then deleted. If you commission the work, it is kept for the duration of the relationship and for the statutory limitation periods for tax purposes (6 years) and building warranties (up to 10 years for structural elements).

5. Recipients and processors

We do not disclose your data to third parties for commercial purposes. The following may access it, as data processors and only to the extent necessary: the website's hosting and email provider, our accounting and tax advisers, and the technical professionals (architect, building surveyor) when the work requires a technical project or a permit. No international transfers are made outside the European Economic Area other than those covered by European Commission adequacy decisions.

6. Project photographs

The before-and-after photographs we publish are taken with the owner's express written consent and do not include identifying details, exact addresses or recognisable people. You may withdraw that consent at any time and we will remove the images from the site.

7. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to the postal address or email given in section 1 and providing proof of identity. If you believe we have not dealt with your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, www.aepd.es).

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: an encrypted website connection, restricted access to the forms we receive, and backups. Please also see our cookie policy and legal notice.
